Work at home moms does not have the luxury of going to the corporate supply closet to replenish her office supplies. There are a few things that she must keep on hand at all times. Besides the normal office supplies, she will need some band aids for quick repairs on boo boos and some tissues for an intermittent nose wiping. Don’t forget the whistle to referee a quick fight.

But honestly, a work at home mom’s job is difficult. She must balance not only work, but the children in most cases. The most important thing is the computer. Laptops are great because they can be moved about while a WAM (Work At Home Mother) is doing other things. Adding to the list of things a WAM will need is a hearty supply of pens. Ink pens tend to have legs and move all about the house. They are never to be found when one is needed. Let’s face it juggling work, home and a social life can be a bit much, so every WAM needs a calendar. This calendar will schedule not only business appointments, but doctors’ visits. On the occasion she might have some time for herself; this book will also hold spa time and hair appointments.

Another essential item is the candy jar. It can act as a hushing agent when she is on the phone or a quick pick me up when she is about to fall asleep. Of course she must have the standard tape, paper clips, stapler, ruler, and post it notes.
